It's back!
BruManch will be hosting Pertandingan Lagu-Lagu Dakwah, in conjunction with the 29th National Day of Brunei Darussalam, for the 3rd year running, with support from BSUnion.

General rules
- The competition is only open to Bruneian students and societies registered under the Brunei Students' Union and Bruneians currently residing in the UK and EIRE.
- The event will consist of no more than 12 participating groups, each with a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 15 people.
- Imports from other societies are allowed but are limited to 2 imports per group.
- No mixed group of women and men are allowed.
- Groups that do not meet these criteria will be deducted 5 points from their marks.
- Each group may be accompanied by musical instruments.
- The choice of clothes should cover the aurat.
Time of presentation
- The presentation/performance should not be more than 10 minutes.
- If the performance exceeds the allowed performance time, 2 marks will be deducted after each extra minute.
- Judging will start from the opening greeting (Bismillah) and end on the closing greeting.
Lyrics and rhythms
- Lyrics and rhythms must be Islam related; lyrics must convey a message to spread Islam.
- The lyrics must be submitted after the registration form has been sent and is judged prior to the event.
- Submission of lyrics will have to be done by Wednesday, 27th February 2013.
- If a minus one track is to be used, this must also be sent in by Wednesday, 27th February 2013.
- Songs of original creations will gain more points.

Registration
- Registration begins on Wednesday, 30thJanuary 2013 and ends on Wednesday, 20thFebruary 2013.
- Registration fee is £3 per participant.
- Fees will include:
Ø Lunch (Nasi Ayam Penyet)
Ø Certificate
- Payments can be made by internet banking after registration has been confirmed.
