Update: BBSS Paintball Tournament 2012 Subsidization

Salam everyone :)

As agreed and promised, BruManch is happy to announce that we will provide a £10 subsidization on the entrance fee per player. This means you will only have to pay £30! The subsidization is double the amount of what you have paid to be a member of BruManch so there's nothing to lose :)


Places are limited so remember to submit your details as soon as possible including your:

Details should be submitted as soon as possible and latest by Wednesday, 18th January 2012.

News: BBSS Paintball Tournament 2012!

Salam and hi everyone!

Hope everyone is staying fit despite the revision period because it's that time of year again for the annual BBSS (Brunei Birmingham Students Society) Paintball Tournament 2012! If you're looking to blow off some steam and shoot someone after the stressful exams, where better than here! :D

This year's event is going to be held on Saturday, 25th February 2012 at a new location - the world famous National Paintball Fields, a 200 acre movie themed action adventure park and is the UK's best paintball site!

BruManch always sends a team to represent our society every year so what are you waiting for? We need 15 players this time around with a fee of £40 per player (total of £600 per team). BruManch has agreed to subsidize the fee for each player :) If you're interested, please email us your details, including your:

• Full name
• Student number
• Address
• Phone number
• Email

Details should be submitted as soon as possible and latest by Wednesday, 18th January 2012.  There's only 12 teams playing and we want to be one of them. Supporters are more than welcome to join (with a transportation fee of course)! :p

The full payment by each player may be done no later than on Wednesday, 1st February 2012 to the BruManch Treasurer.

The Brunei-Newcastle Society will be having A joint sports event where Bruneian and Malaysian societies in Newcastle are collaborating together to bring both Bruneians and Malaysians around the UK to compete in sports.

Sports that will take place are 5-A-side Football and Badminton (Men Singles, Women Singles and Mixed Doubles).

Update: BruManch Madpaintball Team 2011

Salam and Hello everyone!

How are you all? Hope all still in a good shape despite Burning in this Exams period. Anyway It's the time of the year again where the BBSS (BRUMINGHAM SOCIETY) organizing their annual event called the MADPAINTBALL 2011. Therefore BruManch are planning to participate this Awesome event!=)

It will be held on the 26th of February 2011. (Saturday)

The registration just started roughly 30minutes ago and will be closed on the 6th of February BUT BruManch are planning to register early as possible as this year its only open for 12 teams!:3

The Total registration fees are 490 pounds per team that made of 16 people (12 on field and 4 reserves).
BUT ====>>>> BruManch will SUBSIDIZE roughly1/3 of the fees, so each will only have to pay 20.50 pounds!
Payment will only be made on the 1st of February 2011 to BruManch treasurer - will be informed on a later info.

Winter: BruManch IceSkating 2010

Sorry for the delay in updating the blogs. How are you guys? hope everyone is still in a good shape in this bitterly cold weather:)

Anyway..

we had BruManch ice skating last week, 15th December 2010! Thank you for those who joined the fun=D (falling is not a bad thing, righhht? :p) and Special Thank you to Ardina and Hafizah for organised everything.

Hope everyone is in a good health and spirit. but really, How Are You? Holiday will be coming up soon which is two weeks from now. Are you guys not excited about it? this is one of the reason to smile, Holiday! Freedom! On Boxing Day! :D

Anyway, another event is coming soon to you guys in this winter weather and it is ICE SKATING. BruManch society are very much happy to anounce ANYONE is welcome, members or non-members. For all bruenians out there, come and take part in this event. It is pleasing to see a big group of bruneians come together.

It will be on the 15th of December 2010.

Event take place at : spinning fields ice rink

Price will be 7.50 with student card.

Time will be at 5pm.

Yesterday, we had a Friendly-Match Bowling Tournament with MSSM (Malaysian student society of Manchester) at Parss-wood . It was Great! Although we didn't win anything:p lol. However, Thank you to Our Sports Secretaries Khalil Roslan and Ardina Daud for organizing the awesome event!

The BruManch society is sending a Paintball team to the MAD Paintball event in Birmingham this Saturday, 21st February 2009. It will be an exciting event seeing everyone running and shooting at opponents on the battlefield.

LufBru Friendly Games

The Brunei Loughborough Society (LufBru) is inviting BruManch for a friendly game tournament on the 29th November 2008 (Saturday). The event is usually held in Manchester but this year, BruManch is going to Loughborough. The Brunei Society from Warwick (BruWick) is also invited to the event. Therefore, there will be 3 societies competing in the tournament.

The games that will be played are: Netball, Football and Badminton.
